Job Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Develop and update hazard identification, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
Reporting: Realization of Algerian regulatory studies, EDD, EIE, PII, SGS, and EIPS/E for several clients in oil and gas.
Office-based for design reviews but frequently visiting project sites for audits.
Regulatory Monitoring: Ensure all technical studies and operational procedures comply with local, national, and international environmental and safety regulations.
Reports to the HSE lead in Algeria.
Certifications would be an asset.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, process, or related fields
1 – 2 years in process safety or industrial safety role, preferably in oil & gas. Can accept a recent graduate with strong motivation.
Mastery of the realization of EDD, HAZOP… reports and studies.
Familiar with various risk analysis methodologies (HAZID, FEERA…),
Basics of AutoCAD.
Knowledge of intervention and emergency response plans.
Knowledge in ATEX.
Should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Must have excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
Required languages: French and English in writing and speaking
Soft Skills: Rigor, strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to travel.
